Determination of Water Resources in Tube Well Using Hydrofacies for Riverbank Filtration

The reliability of water in riverbank filtration application is hard to be determined since the source and what happen at below ground cannot see. These difficulties give effect for it important determination its quality quantity. Due that, this method was suggested used determine pumping well (PW) Lubok Buntar, Kedah. soil samples were taken from PW river type major ion (anion cations). results show that most sandy loam (52%). Based on piper diagram hydrofacies showed RW connected a certain period time. predominant cationin Na2+-CI-, consequently, tube mostly came groundwater rather than water. Therefore, location suitable applications as has two reliable sources. treatment, quantity order make sure system sustainable.
